God has called us from all nations and all ages to be imitators of Jesus Christ, participators in God’s mission, and proclaimers and demonstrators of the Good News of the Kingdom of God. At the heart of community transformation is the local church – an integral part of the community embodying the values of the Kingdom, and responding to what God requires of us, namely to act justly, love compassion and walk humbly with God.

Challenge: have we made a difference, has there been a grass-roots impact?

Context: are we being proactive, relevant and responsive?

Cooperation: are there increased synergies between stakeholders serving the poor and marginalised?

Compromise: have we influenced our world or vice versa?

Aim:to enable one another to adopt an incarnational approach in making known the Gospel of God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ; to learn from one another best practice in demonstrating God’s love in compassionate care for the needy; to join together in striving for justice and peace and in caring for His creation.
